Webster City Fire Open House is Tuesday, October 15. You’re invited.

Webster City Fire spent this week honoring Fire Prevention Week by sending members to schools and sharing with local youth the importance of fire safety in the home. Capt. Jeremy Estlund heads WCF’s Fire Prevention programs and each year teaches fire safety to students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.

You’ll want to put Tuesday, October 15, on your calendar. That is the day Webster City Fire will host an Open House from 6 to 8 p.m. at the firehouse, 919 Superior Street, Webster City. There will be a free dinner, bounce house, fire safety house, Sparky and Oreo the fire dog, fire extinguisher training, and crazy maze. Everyone is welcome.

Pictured is Firefighter Amanda Staley. She wanted to go to the preschool and share, especially with the young girls, that they could be firefighters too. The girls love seeing her. Thanks, everyone for letting us come to your school or show you around the firehouse this week. Stay safe, stay low, and don’t ignore the beep.

Starting at $3.46/week.
