Collaborative Grantmaking workshop is September 4

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation is excited to announce its “Collaborative Grantmaking & Impact Workshop” on September 4 at 5 p.m., at the Briggs Woods Conference Center.

This workshop is open to all nonprofits and for-profit businesses interested in enhancing their community development projects through effective resource maximization.

“We frequently receive inquiries from organizations seeking funding for projects and operational needs,” Darcy Swon, development director of the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation said. “This workshop aims to connect valuable resources and increase awareness of available funding options.”

Ethan Pitt from the Iowa Area Development Group will provide an overview of local and state grants, as well as other financial programs successfully utilized by IADG’s utility partners to support community development.

Other presenters include Marcie Boerner and Monica Haberman, Platinum Connect; Cindy Im, Hamilton County Economic Development; Ariel Bertran, City of Webster City; Anna Woodward, Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce; Heidi Eckers, Jewell A Main Street Program Community.

Darcy Swon will conclude the workshop with information on the resources available through the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation, including their annual grant program.
