The First Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Webster City will serve its popular Brownie Sundae Drive-Thru Friday, July 19, at the church at 1000 Willson Avenue.

The sundaes are being served from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In the event of rain, it will be held Friday, July 26. Freewill donations for the sundaes will benefit local food pantries.

Here’s how it works: Going north on Willson Avenue, stop at the west entrance to the church. An attendant will come to your vehicle to take your order and receive your donation. Your order will then be brought to your vehicle, and you simply drive off and find a spot to enjoy your sundae.

Ice cream will be available for those who do not wish to have a brownie sundae; the bowls, spoons and napkins provided are all made of compostable materials.
