Kendall Young Library has youth programming for fall

Kendall Young Library will take a break from programming for the month of August as it prepares for the fall. Fall programming will begin September 9.

Here’s a glimpse of some of the weekly programs planned for the fall.

NEW — Tales Around the Town — Families are invited to join the library staff each Monday evening at different locations and businesses around Webster City for a short program and time to explore. Watch for more details.

Wild Things — PreK-second — will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m.

Fuzzy Ducklings — Under 3 years — will meet on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Tween’s Time — Third to fifth grade — will meet on Thursdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m.

Teen Lounge — Sixth to 12th grade — will meet both Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Teen Homeschool Tech Lab — Sixth to 12th grade — will meet one Thursday a month from 1 to 3 p.m.

Plus, here are some special fall events:

Magician MiKayla Oz — Everyone is invited to experience the magic of MiKayla Oz on Thursday, September 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m. This is for patrons of all ages.

Wilderman’s Family Friendly Show — On Saturday, September 14, starting at 10:30 a.m. patrons are invited to listen to the tales of Chad Elliott as he performs his whimsical lyrics and tells a tale. Lunch will be provided and all ages are welcome to attend.
