Ames Chamber officially rebrands as Ames Regional Economic Alliance
The Ames Chamber of Commerce officially became the Ames Regional Economic Alliance on Tuesday.
The Alliance is the organization both Hamilton County and the City of Webster City joined recently in a consolidated effort to draw economic improvements to the region.
“Today marks an exciting milestone for our organization as we unveil Ames’ ‘worst-kept secret’ and proudly introduce our new name and brand: Ames Regional Economic Alliance,” the Alliance said in a media release.
“Since 1944, we have proudly operated as the Ames Chamber of Commerce. However, over the past 15 years, our organization has significantly evolved, expanding our services, programs, and team members. This growth has allowed us to play a much more comprehensive role in our community.”
It continues, “While we are introducing a new brand, our mission remains unchanged. We will continue to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and community development across Boone, Hamilton, and Story counties.”
A new website was also launched Tuesday.
“On our new site, you can learn more about our community partners, regional economic development projects, affiliate organizations, and membership benefits.”
You can learn more about the affiliations of the new Alliance at www.AmesAlliance.com.
