You can now purchase Webster City Community Theatre tickets online.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 15, for Webster City Community Theatre’s production of “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”
You will have eight opportunities to see the show: June 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 7 pm; June 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 2 pm.
Tickets for adults are $15; student tickets for kids 18 years and under are $10.
Plus, there’s big news: Webster City Community Theatre now offers online ticketing.
That means that the box office procedures have been updated to provide a convenient and safe way for patrons to order tickets.
Here’s how:
On the WCCT website, www.webstercitycommunitytheatre.org, click the Purchase Tickets Online button. That will take you to the secure ticket purchasing site. There, you will be able to select a performance and view the seating chart to select your seats. Click on your preferred seats to purchase and then select whether the ticket is for a student or an adult.
You can also scan the QR code located on postcards and posters to access the ticketing site, or go directly to the site, htttp://our.show/webstercitycommunitytheatre.
A credit or debit card is required for the purchase.
Note: There will be a processing fees.
The tickets will then be emailed to you, featuring a QR code with ticket information. You can print the ticket, or simply show the theatre’s usher the QR code on your phone when you arrive at the theatre for the show.
You can also check out the show merchandise available on the ticketing website or make a donation to ensure WCCT can continue to provide quality productions in Webster City.
Box office opens Saturday
For you traditionalists, you can still purchase tickets at the box office beginning Saturday, June 15. The box office is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and weeknights from 5 to 7 p.m. Cash, check and credit cards may be used for purchase. Tickets purchased at the box office will include a $2 seat fee, along with associated processing fees if a debit or credit card is used.

About the show
“Beauty and the Beast Jr.” tells the familiar story of Belle, a young woman who finds herself held in an enchanted castle inhabited by a prince cursed to live as a beast.
As Belle befriends the castle’s enchanted staff, she discovers the prince’s humanity beneath his gruff exterior, leading to a tale of love and redemption.
With memorable songs and colorful characters, the musical explores the themes of inner beauty, acceptance and true love conquering all.
Director and Choreographer Lindsay Henderson and Music Director Dane Barner are assisted by Director Karina Murray.
Rehearsals started in late April.
