Beginning today, Second Street in Webster City will be closed from Superior Street to White Fox Road.

There will be a detour in place. The suggested detour routes traffic north along Superior Street to its intersection with Third Street. Then traffic will go east on Third Street all the way to its intersection with White Fox Road. Traffic can then travel southbound to the Second Street intersection and turn left to continue on Second Street.

This road closure and subsequent detour will last approximately one week, weather pending. There will also be a temporary “no parking” restriction on Third Street from Superior Street to White Fox Road.
