WCCT announces ‘Beauty and The Beast Jr.’ cast
Area young people will help share a tale as old as time, as Webster City Community Theatre presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr” this summer.
Directors Lindsay Henderson and Dane Barner, along with assistant director Karina Murray, conducted auditions April 7 and 8.

Rehearsals begin soon and performances are scheduled for June 21-23 and June 28-30.
The musical tells the familiar story of Belle, a young woman who finds herself held in an enchanted castle inhabited by a prince cursed to live as a beast.
As Belle befriends the castle’s enchanted staff, she discovers the prince’s humanity beneath his gruff exterior, leading to a tale of love and redemption.
With memorable songs and colorful characters, the musical explores the themes of inner beauty, acceptance and true love conquering all.
