Due to the projected rainy weather forecast, the Family Summer Kick-off Carnival to kick off the Summer Library Program will be held indoors from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kendall Young Library, 1201 Willson Avenue, Webster City.

The scheduled Friends of the Library Pop-Up Book Sale is canceled for this month and will be rescheduled for the future.

Once again, here are the details of the upcoming carnival event:

Kendall Young Library will host a fun family afternoon with so much to do! On Saturday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the library will host a variety of family-friendly carnival activities. Included will be games, face painting, a balloon artist, baby/toddler area and food sponsored by Fareway.

The Blank Park Zoo will have an activity booth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
