The Fair Meadow Drive Reconstruction Project in Webster City will begin today.

This is expected to impact traffic at the intersection of Fair Meadow Drive and Des Moines Street.

There will be some detours and some road closures.

The first detour will direct traffic around the north side of the Des Moines Street and Fair Meadow Drive intersection to allow contractors to remove concrete and replace the water main, according to the City of Webster City.

This detour will remain in effect for roughly two weeks, weather depending.

Once the water infrastructure is replaced, the street will be poured back and reopened to traffic. Updates will be available on the City of Webster City’s Facebook page.
