Young people from Webster City and surrounding areas are invited to be part of “a tale as old as time,” as Webster City Community Theatre presents “Disney’s Beauty and The Beast Jr.” this summer.

Auditions will be held Sunday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Monday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane, Webster City.

Cast members must be 18 years of age and younger .

The production features 11 primary roles, including Belle, the Beast, Maurice, Gaston, LeFou, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Babette, and Madame De La Grande Bouche, and 25 fun supporting roles.

Lindsay Henderson and Dane Barner are directors for the production June 21-23 and June 28-30. Karinna Murray and Katie Hildal are the production coordinators.

Once the cast is selected, a read-through will be held, and rehearsals will begin the week of April 22.
