NAMI Central Iowa provides free support groups, educational classes such as: Family support groups, connections support groups, Ending the Silence (suicide prevention and mental health awareness talk for middle and high school students). Its mission is to inspire better lives for Central Iowans affected by mental illness through support programs, educational outreach, and advocacy. Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, Mason City, Dayton, Eagle Grove (CHC) offers mental health screenings, counseling, crisis intervention, medication management, substance abuse screening and counseling and Psychological testing for ages 5 to adult.
