Hamilton Co. Conservation Board will host open house

The Hamilton County Conservation Board — HCCB — has concluded the recent public survey that sought to learn what people want to see and do in their county parks and natural resource areas.

The public is invited to attend an open house to review the results of this survey on Tuesday, March 5.

This event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Hamilton County Conservation Office at Briggs Woods Park. A PowerPoint presentation of the survey results will start at 5:30 pm.

Along with Hamilton County Conservation staff, Molly Hanson, of RDG Planning & Design, will be on hand to present the information and help answer questions regarding the survey.

This is another opportunity for the public to give feedback to the Hamilton County Conservation Board and support its efforts to create a new strategic plan.

Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Brian Lammers, director for Hamilton County Conservation, 515-832-9570.
