EHCF welcomes two new funds to enhance community well-being

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation — EHCF — continues to broaden its impact in the community with the addition of new funds that align with its mission of enhancing the quality of life throughout Hamilton County.

The following funds were recently opened to benefit the communities of Webster City and Jewell.

Friends of the Library Fund: This fund has been established to support the dedicated volunteer committee of the Kendall Young Library as it works to enrich the library’s programming beyond regularly budgeted items specifically in the area of youth and family programming.

Jewell Parks & Recreation Fund: This fund is dedicated to the enhancement of recreational facilities in this and surrounding communities. Right now, donations are going towards the capital campaign for a new city swimming pool located in Jewell.

For those interested in making a charitable gift to any of the EHCF funds, donations can be mailed or dropped to the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation at 501 Bank Street, Webster City, IA 50595, and make the check payable to the fund name. Online donations are also accepted through the Foundation’s website at enhancehamiltoncounty.org. All gifts are tax-deductible.

The EHCF also welcomes various forms of donations, such as gifts of stock and IRA rollovers.

For inquiries about these types of charitable gifts or if you are interested in learning more about establishing your own charitable giving fund, contact Darcy Swon, Development Director of the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation, by calling 515-835-0437 or via email at dswon@enhancehamiltoncounty.org.
