Before the weather turned to fall, Hamilton County Conservation installed five new mini picnic shelters at Briggs Woods Park, and also five at Little Wall Lake Park.

Here’s a look at one of them, right.

The picnic shelters were made possible with a grant through Hamilton County Economic Development and Tourism. Central Iowa Building Supply, of Webster City, also contributed to the project.

The shelters include a permanent picnic table and a new grill.

Note: These new picnic areas require a carry-in carry-out policy for trash and refuse.
