Hamilton County reopens portion of Ziegler Avenue
Last week, the Hamilton County Roads Department had come across damage to a small bridge on Ziegler Avenue, prompting the county to deem the stretch of backroad off-limits for traffic.
Now, it’s back and ready for vehicle usage once more.
In a Thursday morning announcement from the Hamilton County Roads Department, a portion of Ziegler Avenue has been reopened.
The small bridge is situated between 380th Street (County Road D65) and 370th Street.
The gravel road is located next to Bear Creek, and situated between Interstate 35 and Garden City in Hardin County.
The repair period lasted for a little more than one week’s time.
The Hamilton County Roads Department shut down the bridge on March 7.
