The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation in partnership with the Iowa State

University Extension and Outreach will hold a Grant Writing 101 Workshop for

residents of Hamilton County on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the

Hamilton County Iowa State Extension office at 311 Bank St., in Webster City.

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation will provide a free meal to those attending and is

not limiting this workshop to only applicants of the Foundation’s grant program. Registration is

required and can be done by going to the Foundation’s website or through the registration

link shared on Facebook.

“We are excited to offer this class free of charge to help those that are tasked with writing

community-focused grants,” said Enhance Hamilton County Foundation Development

Director Darcy Swon. “This workshop will provide tips and guidelines to write a more effective

grant in the hopes that organizations seeking grants can strengthen their applications and

secure more of the funding they are seeking.”
