Great night for a parade

Procession Tuesday night kicks off Hamilton County Fair

A line of John Deere tractors cruised down Second Street Tuesday night as part of the Hamilton County Fair Parade. Following the parade, the Fair Foundation held a meal and Vinyl Vagabond performed on the free stage at the fairgrounds.

Wayne Judkins, children’s department librarian at Kendall Young Library, strummed a ukelele as he walked along in the Hamilton County Fair Parade Tuesday night. Other walkers carried large inflatable crayons. The library’s entry celebrated the colors of the world, part of the summer reading program.
