Schools launch Digital Backpack

New tool helps students, families get connected with opportunities throughout the community

The Webster City Community School District has added a new tool to increase families’ access to flyers and information regarding school and community activities.

Through the District’s Digital Backpack, families can find educational and enrichment opportunities throughout the community. These opportunities span a number of categories, including arts and entertainment, clubs and events, camps and scouts, PTO events, fundraisers and volunteering and health and fitness.

“We are excited to launch this new Digital Backpack, which we hope our families find useful for finding valuable events and opportunities for their children,” said Dr. Mandy Ross, superintendent. “This effort represents another way in which we are engaging our families and community to support our students.”

Community members and groups that would like to add a flyer to the Digital Backpack can do so by filling out a brief form and submitting their document to the district. More information on this

process is available at https://www.webster-city.k12.ia.us/olc/284/class/1348.
