Benefit planned for Olson
Proceeds to help defray medical, living expenses
JEWELL — A drive-through meal benefit for Bob Olson to defray medical and living expenses from a recent accident will be held this Sunday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jewell Market, 607 King St., Jewell.
On Jan. 19, Olson had a one vehicle rollover accident south of Ellsworth on his way to work. Olson sustained a broken neck, sternum, and a few ribs. He is currently doing physical therapy but is expected not to work for the next 6 months.
The meal, prepared by Jewell Market will consist of a pork sandwich, potato salad, chips, and a cookie. A free will donation is requested.
To send a donation, mail it or drop it off at Availa Bank, 702 Main St. Jewell, IA 50130 with the name “Bob Olson Family Benefit” on the check or money order.
