With a day off from school and several inches of wet snow to inspire them, some kids on First Street spent Friday building snowmen, having snowball fights and even building an igloo.

Kasey Jones, 14, Ty Coons, 12, Easton Moss, 8 and Liam Calles, 5, all pitched in to help pack more than 90 snow squares to create the igloo. They spent several hours stacking the squares and packing them in securely. The boys also took some time to help out their neighbors by shoveling walks in the neighborhood.
