Officials with Upper Des Moines Opportunity Inc. have announced that there is still time for families to register for the Christmas Adopt A Family program.

The program allows income-eligible Hamilton County residents to signup for the program which will help make the holidays a little brighter for those who might need a little extra help at this time of year. Applications for the program are available at the UDMO lobby, 1610 Collins St. For more information, call the UDMO office, 832-6451. Fifty families will be accepted but the deadline is approaching. Applications need to be received by Friday, Nov. 13.

UDMO officials said once the applications are received, they will start pairing family wish lists with donors. Donors who wish to help out can contact the UDMO office.
