What’s an interesting fact about you that some might not know?
I was a career firefighter/EMT for 10 years before getting into law enforcement. I served as a Lieutenant/officer on heavy rescue/pumper 55 and responded to mainly heavy rescues and extrications in the Metro.
What is the most memorable incident you’ve responded to?
CPR was in progress on an infant. I happened to be 3 blocks from the address when the call came in and revived the infant with successful CPR. The infant made a full recovery.
What is the toughest part of your job?
Keeping up with continuous changes in the laws and legislations.
What gives you the most satisfaction in your job?
Investigating a crime from beginning to end with the case having a successful prosecution for the victim. Also, recovering stolen/missing property for the victim
