Hamilton County Democrats have donated the children’s, Anti-Racist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi to the Kendall Young Public Library. Pictured is Janet Adams presenting to library director, Ketta Lubberstedt-Arjes, the book with $50 to use for resources that address racial injustice. Although identified as a children’s book, Anti-Racist Baby will be useful at any age. It provides themes for people to consider and to act upon. With the death of George Floyd becoming a call to action, the local Democratic central committee is urging everyone to create positive change within themselves, their neighborhoods, and our society to create more equitable communities for all of us. Members of the Hamilton County Democrat central committee are offering similar donations to all six libraries in the county.
