The City of Webster City and the Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District have teamed up for a Downtown Light Pole Banner Art Contest.

Organizers are looking for submissions for four different categories: Summer/Boone River fun; Fall/Lynx Pride; Winter/Hometown Holiday and Spring/Colorful and Creative. Community members of all ages are encouraged to submit photos of original artwork in any of the following mediums — painting, screen printing, multi-media, digital or photography. Artwork and photos must be in color. No black and white images will be accepted.

Deadline for submissions is Sept. 25 by 5 p.m.
