‘Dirty Dancing’ is free movie set for Friday

Film to be shown at Availa Bank Plaza at 9:05 p.m.

“Dirty Dancing” is the next in the series of Friday night outdoor movies in downtown Webster City.

The movie, sponsored by Black Hills Energy, will be shown at Availa Bank Plaza at 9:05 p.m. Those attending the free movie are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on.

The Webster Theater, which has been open in past weeks for concessions and restrooms, will be closed on Friday as a volunteer has tested positive for COVID-19, according to officials with the Webster Theater. The facility is being sanitized and will reopen the following week for concessions.
