Little Free Pantries coming to WC

Boxes to offer free resources for Webster City families in need

The two pantries will serve as an free emergency resource for Webster City families in need, according to foundation officials. The pantries will feature a variety of items, ranging from meals and food items, snacks to diapers, body wash and seasonal clothing. Local Iowa Select Farms employees will keep the pantry stocked with items. A unique feature about the pantry boxes is that they they were painted by Ray “Bubba” Sorenson, the famed Freedom Rock creator. Each box will be unique to Webster City, according to foundation officials. The pantries will be set up at All Cultures Equal, 1440 East Second St., and Fuller Hall, 625 Bank St. The panties will be unveiled Monday afternoon by Iowa Select Farms employees, Deb and Jeff ansen Foundation representatives, representatives of the City of Webster City, Hamilton County and All Cultures Equal.
