Practice sessions at HC Speedway now postponed
Season opener in jeopardy due to new restrictions
Practice sessions at the Hamilton County Speedway, scheduled throughout this week, have been postponed indefinitely.
Track promoter Todd Staley announced last week that drivers would be allowed onto the historic half-mile dirt track on a limited basis, and two-hour time slots were scheduled throughout this week.
However, on Monday, Governor Kim Reynolds announced the closure of additional businesses throughout the state, which included campgrounds.
The Hamilton County Speedway’s season opener is on the docket for April 18, but that is now in jeopardy because of the closures.
