Campgrounds open with some restrictions
The Hamilton County Conservation Board has announced that all campsites in the Hamilton County Parks are open for campers. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, there will be restrictions put into place. They are as follows:
n All Bathroom/Shower facilities will remain closed until further notice.
Please pay immediately upon self-registration. Do not wait as this will cause our staff additional time to complete our registration process.
n Limit your campsite group size (including guests) to 6 individuals, per our campground rules and regulations.
n Avoid larger groups in general. Please take into consideration the health of others when spending time outdoors.
n As normal, the park is closed at 10:30 pm. Visitors must leave by this time.
n Maintain a 6-foot distance between you and other park visitors according to guidelines recommended by public health officials.
n Secure all garbage in closed or tied garbage bags when taking to the dumpsters. Loose garbage is not allowed, and will result in a littering fine.
n All other state and county rules apply to camping.
n Reservations and cancellations are subject to current policy.
n Additional information on keeping safe can be found online at the CDC website.
