Ceramic pendant workshop offered

The holidays are quickly approaching, but there is still time to create a handcrafted gift for someone on your Christmas list.

Art instructor Madalyn Loring will lead a class on Saturday, Dec. 14 showing participants how to create clay pendants. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. until noon at the Produce Station Pottery, 723 Seneca St., Webster City.

Participants will create two ceramic pendants with texture and glaze during the two hour workshop. The tuition for the class is $20 with a $10 firing fee. The class is open to participants age 3 to adult. Register for the class at www.legacylearningbrv.org.

Loring is the Webster City High School art instructor and is a new member of the Legacy Learning BRV board of directors.
