The Webster City Women’s Club will meet Monday, Oct. 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jane Young House. Hospitality is under the direction of Jolene Hibbing.

The program, “A House in Mourning,” will be presented by Marty Mitchell of Marshalltown, who is founder of the Iowa Funeral Museum. Mitchell will share information about historical funeral customs and the museum’s collection. The topic ties into the newest exhibit in the Jane Young House Vintage Clothing Exhibit, which was unveiled on Sept. 28.

This meeting is open to the public and guests are encouraged to attend.

Refreshments will be served by committee members Sheila Johnson, Jane Knoll and Sue Naden.

Since the new club year starts in January, the membership dues of $25 per person, per year, are starting to be collected and should be paid to the Webster City Women’s Club.
