The Webster City Hotel/Motel Tax Board has announced the schedule for the 24th round of Hotel/Motel Tax Grants.

Hotel/Motel tax grants are for the purpose of increasing tourism and visitors in Webster City, officials said.

A grant training session will be held on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The grant training is mandatory for all applicants.

Grant applications open Oct. 15. Applications are due Nov. 19 before 5 p.m.

The first round review to determine finalists is planned for Nov. 26 at 5:15 p.m. with letters to the finalists going out Nov. 27.

Televised presentations are planned for Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

The final determination of recommendations will be held Dec. 11 at 5:15 p.m.

The board will present the final recommendations to the City Council on Dec. 16,
