Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrests man wanted for attempted murder

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with two individuals who are wanted on charges of attempted murder.
The department executed a search warrant on Monday morning at 1839 280th St. and apprehended Jacob Christopher Adams, 35. Adams was arrested without incident, said Sheriff Doug Timmons.
On Thursday, the Sheriff’s office put out a press release stating that Adams, along with Jennifer Sue Pritchard, 40, were wanted on charges for attempted murder.
Timmons said he believes Adams and Pritchard are friends.
Pritchard remains at large on an attempted murder warrant from Hamilton County.
The Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa State Patrol Tac Team, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
Nathanial Scott Harris, 33, was also arrested during the search on a warrant from Johnson County.
The case remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and more charges are pending.
The Sheriff’s office is not releasing any information at this time on the incident that the attempted murder charges stemmed from.
"It is still under investigation," Timmons said.
