Officials with the Webster City outdoor pool said hours of operation will change this week due to a shortage of lifeguards.

The pool will be open through Friday for adult lap swimming from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and for open swimming 1 to 4 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, the pool will be open for lap swimming 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and for open swimming 1 to 7 p.m.

The pool may close early during these times if there is inclement weather or a lack of swimmers, officials said.
