WCCT?to open ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardobe’ tonight

Four children, a magical wardrobe, a lion and a bevy of forest animals will take to the stage tonight for six performances at Webster City Community Theatre.

“The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,” a play is based on a story from C.S. Lewis, “The Chronicles of Narnia” and dramatized by Joseph Robinette, will be presented Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. and July 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. and July 21 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 and are on sale at the box office 5 to 7 p.m. weeknights, 10 to noon on Saturday and one hour prior to curtain on performance days. For more information, or to reserve seats, call 832-4456.

The cast of 25 is under the direction of Loween Getter, assisted by Andrew Wotherspoon and Angela Rottering, and stage manager Mykah Kennedy.
