The Boone and Hamilton County Amateur Radio Emergency Service groups will hold a joint effort in the American Radio Relay League’s annual field day.

The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, and the group will set up amateur radio stations at the band shelter in West Twin Park in Webster City.

Setup will start around 10 a.m. Saturday with radio operations beginning at 1 p.m. The exercise will end mid-morning Sunday.

The group will operate three stations and guest operation will be allowed, whether the guest is licensed or not. The public is welcome to visit the operation.
