Members of American Legion Post 191, along with other volunteers, made good use of the sunshine and warmer temperatures Wednesday afternoon as they began installing the 600-some American flags which will be displayed at Graceland Cemetery until Friday, May 31. The Avenue of Flags lines the drives throughout the cemetery and is traditionally installed for Memorial Day. The Legion will continue erecting the flag poles and flags today. They received some help from Sunset Heights students who helped remove the caps for the pole sockets and by the high school wrestlers who will assist the effort this morning.
