BLAIRSBURG – Northeast Hamilton Elementary School will be hosting its annual VIP/Maker Day on Thursday, April 4 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Parents, guardians, grandparents and district patrons are invited to participate in activities that expand the mind and delights the imagination. Activities in the past have included marble run construction, glider races, painting, script and movie production, catapult competition and science activities.

The Iowa State College of Design will host its FLEX truck again this year. The FLEX truck exposes students and guests to a world of technological possibilities ranging from virtual reality to 3-D printing.

The popular event encourages students to experience different STEM learning activities throughout the day.
