The Webster City Fire Department hosted an open house Tuesday night, offering families a chance to learn more about safety during Fire Prevention Week. The event featured a free meal, a bounce house and goodie bags for the first 100 kids. Children also had a chance to explore the fire equipment, like Hunter Sickler, 4 and brother Gunner, 2, above. Children also had an opportunity to put out a fire using a fire extinguisher.

Fire fighters also demonstrated stop, drop and roll, and those attending could make their way through a smoke house. About 300 people attended the event.
