Leeper’s Legacy Ride is Saturday

Memorial event raises funds for scholarships

Organizers have announced that the fourth annual Leeper’s Legacy Memorial Ride has been scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 4.

The event is held in memory of Jorden Leeper, a Webster City High School student who died in an auto accident in February 2015. All proceeds from the ride will go to the Jorden Leeper Scholarship Fund.

Sign-up for the ride is at MaidRite in Webster City famd organizers said kickstands will be up by 11 a.m. a.m. Cost for the ride is $20 for single riders or $30 for couples.

Stops along the ride include Amigos in Fort Dodge, Miller’s Landing in Humboldt (with food available), the Blue Moose Saloon in Renwink, J & D’s Hob Nob in Brigg and Fuel in Clarion. Also at Fuel, there will be the drawing for poker hands, 50/50 drawings, raffle prize drawings, silent and live auctions. Raffle tickets are $5.
