Bovines, Equines and Little Buckaroos

— Daily Freeman-Journal photos by Anne Blankenship The Cass Red Cardinals 4-H Club, like the other 4-H Clubs around the county, were well represented with floats and other entries in the Fair Parade Tuesday night.

Floats, firetrucks, walkers and riders entertained crowds gathered along downtown Webster City Tuesday night for Hamilton County Fair Parade.

The theme for this year’s fair is “Bovines, Equines and Little Buckeroos.”

Businesses, 4-H Clubs, churches and civic groups were part of the procession kicking off the 2018 Hamilton County Fair. There was no shortage of candy for the kids, tossed from the passing floats and vehicles.

Following the parade which ended at the fairgrounds, local resident gathered at the Hamilton County Show Arena for the Farmers Challenge.
