Beginning Monday, Aug. 28 and continuing through Friday, Sept. 1, water valves will be operated for maintenance purposes at several locations throughout the City between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The areas involved in this work include: 100 – 1500 Blocks of First, Second and Third Streets, from West Avenue to the Boone River.

This work may cause very brief water outages and may temporarily cause some cloudiness or discoloration of the water in homes. Any discoloration of water or small particles of lime in your water should last for only a short period of time.
