On the hunt for Easter eggs

Parker Murray, 3, wasn’t too sure about meeting the Easter bunny, but Dad Seth was along offering a protective arm. The Easter Bunny greeted children at the Family Easter Event Saturday morning at the fire station.
Henry Stinn, 19 months, gets some help from his mom, Nicole, as they crack open eggs in search of prizes and treats. Two egg hunts were held Saturday morning, one for younger children, like Henry, and another for school age children. The event was hosted by Southfield Wellness Community and the City of Webster City.

Hundreds of area children and their families turned out Saturday morning for the annual Family Easter Event at West Twin Park.

Hosted by Southfield Wellness Community and the City of Webster City, the event featured two egg hunts –one for preschoolers and another for older children. Those attending also had a chance to meet and have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

The morning was capped with treats served at the fire station.
