WC students recognized at awards night

Members of the Webster City High School Class of 2015 received 92 scholarships totaling more than $90,000 at Wednesday’s recognition and awards ceremony, according to Co-Principal Becky Hacker-Kluver.

Seniors were awarded scholarships based on a variety of factors. That ranged from grade point average and class ranking to good citizenship and character.

“Webster City graduates are very blessed that so many former alumni, teachers, individuals and various organizations have been generous throughout the years to make these monetary awards a reality,” Hacker-Kluver said. “Such that seniors always remember that these scholarships are a gift to you.”
