Is she a?hapless victim or a scheming brat? That’s what the cast of “The Trial of Goldilocks”?will put to the audience when the play opens Friday night at Webster City Community Theatre. The production is cast entirely with young actors and actresses.

The comedy uses rhyme, mime, and mirth to tell this classic tale from three points of view: the traditional, the Three Bears, and then Goldilocks. Is she guilty or innocent? Was she a young girl or a selfish, spoiled brat who intruded where she didn’t belong? Or, was she the victim of three conniving bears and their animal “band of hoods in the woods?”

Performances are set for Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. The show will continue April 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and April 19 at 2 p.m. All tickets are $10.
