WCF Financial Bank welcomes new staff members
WCF Financial Bank has recently welcomed several new staff members to its Webster City office.
Michelle Zahn has accepted the Chief Financial Officer position at the bank.
Zahn is the former VP of Treasury and Finance and Controller of First American Bank located in Fort Dodge with branches throughout Iowa and Florida. She brings with her 19 years of banking experience in financial, regulatory and tax reporting.
Prior to First American Bank she was the Controller at a continuing care retirement community in Fort Dodge as well as working at various public accounting firms in Des Moines and Fort Dodge. She’s originally from Webster City, Iowa and graduated from Simpson College. She began her duties May 28.
“Michelle has been an excellent addition to our team,” commented President and CEO, Mike Segner.
“Her experience and depth in of knowledge will continue to be a valuable asset.”
Jackie Doran has accepted the position of Loan Processor at WCF Financial Bank.
She brings with her 5 years of experience in loan processing/operations, most recently working as a Loan Operations Specialist for MidWestOne Bank, headquartered in Iowa City. Originally from Slater, she graduated from Central College with a degree in Communication Studies. Outside of the bank, Doran enjoys traveling, and spending time with her husband, Matt, and son, Mason.
“Jackie will do a fantastic job for our customers,” commented President and CEO, Mike Segner. “Her background and efficiency will be very helpful to the community and our staff of lenders.”
She began her duties on Oct. 9.
Leanne Follmann has accepted the Chief Operations Officer position at the bank. Follman is the former Chief Operations Officer of Partnership Bank located in the Milwaukee, WI area where she currently lives with her husband, Mark.
She brings with her over 30 years’ experience in bank operations with a focus on customer experience in lending, deposit and treasury management. She’s originally from rural Nebraska where she graduated from Wayne State College. In her spare time, she enjoys old movies and playing with her boxer, Eddy.
“Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge in Commercial Banking, Bank Operations, and in Mortgage Lending that will be a key leader in the growth of the bank and in the commercial operations of the Institution,” commented President and CEO, Mike Segner. She began her duties on Nov. 4.
Ariel Bertran has accepted the Vice President/Retail Manager position at the bank. She brings 11 years of banking experience in retail banking. Most recently she worked as Business Office Coordinator for Iowa Central Community College.
Prior to Iowa Central she worked as Branch Manager for Citizens Community Credit Union’s Hy-Vee branch in Fort Dodge. She was raised in Jefferson and graduated from Webster City, Bertran continued her education at AIB College of Business graduating with a degree in Business Administration.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bryce and daughter Birkley, helping others and traveling. She began her duties on Oct. 14.
