Ribbon cut at FSB Jewell
A ribbon cutting to officially open the newest branch of First State Bank was held in Jewell on Friday afternoon at the temporary location of the full-service bank.

A ribbon cutting to officially open the newest branch of First State Bank was held in Jewell on Friday afternoon at the temporary location of the full-service bank. Plans are for a new bank building to be built on Main Street in Jewell a few blocks south of the current location, to be open for business in early 2018. The ribbon cutting was coordinated by Hamilton Hometowns and JADE (Jewell Area Development Enterprise), along with bank employees, and attended by interested community members. Staci Olthoff, formerly with Stanhope First State Bank, is the new manager for First State Bank in Jewell and wielded the scissors to officially cut the ribbon Friday afternoon.
