Wilson Brewer Park Depot open today and Saturday

The Depot museum will be open Friday and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.

The museum is located within the Wilson Brewer Park, located at 220 Ohio St.

Donations are welcome and encouraged.

Stanhope Watermelon Days next weekend

The Stanhope Watermelon Day weekend begins on July 17 and continues through the 18th. Throughout the weekend events, there will be a multitude of events including the annual parade, block party on Friday night, annual parade on Saturday and a car and tractor show.

“Lessons of the Holocaust” program July 18

Brad Wilkening will be presenting his program, “Lessons of the Holocaust” next Saturday at the Mulberry Center Church, located in the Wilson Brewer Park

The program begins at 1 p.m., and will last about an hour.

The Wilson Brewer Park is located at 220 Ohio St. in Webster City

Hamilton Co. Veteran Affairs to hold coffee

The Hamilton County veteran affairs office will hold a coffee for the veterans on Wednesday, July 22 at 8:30 a.m.

This will be held in the basement of the Hamilton County Courthouse, located at 2300 Superior St.

This month there will be a presentation on what the local VA office can and cannot do for you, and where to find resources.
