PLANO, Texas — Christina Mosher and Edward Daniel were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Kathryn and Dan Mosher of Plano. She is the granddaughter of the late Opal and Gaylord Jones of Woolstock and Eagle Grove; and of the late Dee and Luther Mosher of Iowa City. The groom is the son of Khana and Don Daniel, also of Plano. Both Christina and Edward grew up in Plano.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Lian Carlo designer sweetheart strapless ball gown with extended train made of silk Mikado fabric. The gown was detailed in English Garden embroidery. The ceremony was performed by Reverend Denise Peckham. The groom, Edward Daniel, arranged the music (“O God Beyond all Praising” from “Jupiter” by Gustav Holst) for the procession of the Bridal Party and Bride. Each had six attendants. After the ceremony, the guests were invited to the Adolphus Hotel Century Ballroom in Dallas for dinner and dancing.

The bride graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and the groom graduated from Harvard University. They met while medical students at University of Texas Southwestern Christina Medical School. Christina is a resident physician in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and Edward is an MD/PhD student at UT Southwestern. They celebrated with a two week honeymoon in Greece, on the isles of Mykonos and Santorini. They will reside in Dallas.
