Lindsey and Jeffrey Hoelscher

Jeffrey Hoelscher of Williams, and Lindsey Kanis of Altoona, were united in marriage on Oct. 14, 2017 at the Oakwood United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill,. Pastor Charles Johnson, the groom’s uncle, officiated the ceremony.

The bride’s parents are Bryan and Judy Kanis of Altoona and the groom’s parents are Loren and Virginia Hoelscher of Williams.

The maid of honor was Breanna Cory, twin sister of the bride, and the best men were brothers of the groom Scott Hoelscher of Nashville, Tennessee and Curtis Hoelscher of Arlington, Virginia. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her three sons Jaxson, Brayton, and Kaydon.

A reception and dance was held following the ceremony at the Lakeside Center in Ankeny.

The groom works for Central Iowa Fabrication of Alden, and the bride runs an in-home day care in Bondurant.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean Cruise in November.
